Join Body Shoppe Fitness in supporting the Southern Virginia Child Advocacy Center by participating in Child Abuse Prevention Month!
The SVCAC is conducting its "$10 for Them" campaign throughout April. Here's how you can help:
GO BLUE! On Friday, April 7, wear blue and post a photo on social media using the hashtag #wearblue and tag SVCAC on Instagram or Facebook.
** Everyone is encouraged to wear blue at Body Shoppe Fitness on April 7 where we'll be posting, tagging and sharing throughout the day!**
GIVE BLUE! On April 10, make a secure online donation of $10 (or more!) via the Southern Virginia Child Advocacy Center's website. Share the link with friends and family. We'll also be accepting donations at the studio if you prefer to donate that way.
Does $10 really make a difference?
- 1 person donating can keep the lights on at our center for 1 day
- 5 people donating can train 5 adults to respond to child sexual abuse
- 10 people donating can offer a child 2 mental health sessions
- 20 people donating can cover the cost of provisions to support our operations for 2 months
- 40 people donating can train 1 volunteer to serve countless children involved in our court system
